Dear Members:

The 22nd Masters Tournament was held on January 7th at Strikes and Spares in Mishawaka. Thanks to Mike Nagy and his staff for hosting us. A special thanks to Tom Gooley Sr. and Tom Gooley Jr. of Brad’s Pro Shop for their continued sponsorship of this event.

We had a record 69 bowlers compete, a new Master’s record! The prize fund was $3,600 with $900 going for first place. Ron Jonas won his 11th title overall and 4th Master’s title.

In the Championship match, Todd 251 (247+4) defeated Ron 234 in game one (Ron converted the 7-9 split!) but in the final game Ron won 269-229 (225+4).
